Heini Mielonen on sellisti-laulaja, säveltäjä ja sanoittaja, joka löysi sellonsoittamisen asuessaan lapsena ja kouluvuosinaan Tornion kaupungissa, joka sijaitsee Tornionjokilaakson Lapissa, aivan Ruotsin rajalla. Lapin tuulia ja jylhän Tornionjoen aaltoja kuunnellessaan Heini kuvitteli musiikillisia maailmoja, jotka toimivat suurena inspiraation lähteenä myöhemmin hänen säveltäessään musiikkia.
Heinin musiikillinen matka alkoi Meri-Lapin musiikkiopistossa, jossa hän hioi taitojaan sellossa. 17-vuotiaana hän aloitti uuden luvun musiikillisessa koulutuksessaan ja jatkoi opintojaan Ranskassa Cholet’n kaupungissa Conservatoire de musique de Cholet konservatorion oppilaana. Vain 18-vuotiaana Heini toimi jo Kemin kaupungin orkesterin sellistinä.
Opintojensa jälkeen Helsingissä, Malmössä (Ruotsissa) ja Kööpenhaminassa (Tanskassa) Heini uppoutui klassisen musiikin sinfoniaorkesterien maailmaan ennen kuin aloitti soolouransa.

Hänen monipuoliset laulajan taitonsa antavat hänelle mahdollisuuden laulaa jopa seitsemällä eri kielellä suomeksi, englanniksi, ranskaksi, portugaliksi espanjaksi, ruotsiksi ja italiaksi. Yksi hänen erikoisaloistaan on eri vuosikymmeniltä olevien lumoavien ranskalaisten kappaleiden esittäminen bändinsä kanssa.

Heini Mielonen is Finnish singer-cellist, a composer and a lyricist. She discovered her passion for the cello at the age of 11 in the enchanting town of Tornio, situated in the Tornio River Valley in Lapland, right on the border of Sweden. Growing up in the nature of Lapland, she was strongly influenced in her music by the soothing sounds of the Lapland winds and the beautiful Tornio river.
Heini’s musical journey began at the Sea Lapland Music Institute, where she honed her skills on the cello. At the age of 17, she embarked on a new chapter in her musical education, continuing her studies at the Conservatory Of Music of Cholet in France. Remarkably, at just 18, she secured a position as a cellist in the symphony orchestra of Kemi, marking the start of her professional career.
Following her music studies in Helsinki, Malmö (Sweden), and Copenhagen (Denmark), Heini immersed herself in the world of classical music symphony orchestras before venturing into a successful solo career.
In 2024 she released her album of her own compositions ”Step Forward!” where she plays cello and sings both as as solo and with her quintet.
